IT governance regime pattern

NGEN ITG is an innovative IT governance framework of which ontology lies on the relationship whereas traditional IT governance frameworks ontology lies on the process.

The essence of NGEN ITG is embodied in the notion a regime [Fr : régime] , a notion from political science and which is deeply rooted in French history and culture.

As a matter of fact, NGEN ITG defines IT governance with a dual definition (© Tru Dô-Khac, France)
- «  IT governance regime : a [governance] regime for IT,
- IT governance : definition, application and management of IT governance regime(s)
. »

Under the empire of this definition, NGEN ITG has defined a framework to craft IT governance regimes.
With this framework, IT governance regime patterns have been developed. These patterns can facilitate and accelerate the definition of SOA governance regimes, SAAS governance regimes or corporate telecoms governance regimes.

IT governance regime pattern
An IT governance regime pattern is defined as an original IT governance regime. A pattern is created in view to inspire or guide a craftsman (for example, in sewing or knitting). A model is an intellectual representation to tell about the reality (for example, a business model). « IT governance regime pattern » belongs to the eSourcing Governance Thesaurus V1.0 created by Tru Do-Khac.

NGEN ITG
NGEN ITG is a framework which is built on the legacy of an original approach of IT governance created by Tru Dô-Khac, an independant consultant in IT governance and innovation. Elements of this approach have been published in a book published by Hermes Lavoisier ("L'externalisation des télécoms d'entreprise", 2005, ISBN 2-7462-1064-9), and subsequent articles published in selected magazines, La Jaune et La Rouge, ISSN 0021-5554, Ecole Polytechnique alumni magazine among others.

eSourcing Governance Thesaurus V1.0
eSourcing Governance Thesaurus is a critical component of NGEN ITG. Since 2006, elements of both the framework and thesaurus have been released through seminars and lectures at Master level programme of French Grande Ecoles.
The thesaurus features original entries such as "enterprise transactioning" , "eServices operator (eSO)" , "governed eServices" ...
